Bevel cutting is the process of cutting a part with an edge that is not perpendicular to the top of the piece. It aims to increase the surface of the edge for stronger and safer welding. There is a number of bevel edges. Such edges are indicated , in this sector, by the alphabet letter that is most similar to the cut‘s shape seen in its cross-section. The most common kinds of bevel cut include V, A, X, Y upward, Y downward and K. The head designed by Cutlite Penta allows carrying out all these treatments without particularly damaging the traditional plane cut. This head that is innovative for its mechanics features reduced overall dimensions, is light and allows using the same bases of plane machines, thus keeping the technological qualities of our machines. It allows rotating +/- 45° in both the cutting directions.
• Machine dimensions are the same as those of standard plane machine
• High speed and acceleration reduced by 20% only
• Excellent cutting quality on stainless steel up to 15mm at 45° due to our specially set nozzles
• Easy to program even on board the machine
