FHD 60 kW: Europe's first system with an IPG source, running at LAMIERA 2025
At LAMIERA 2025 we are running Europe's first laser system with a 60 kW IPG Photonics source. It is an FHD, and you'll find it at booth D13.
From May 6 to 9 we are at LAMIERA 2025 in Fieramilano Rho, the one Italian show dedicated to sheet metal. In hall 13, booth D13, we are bringing something Europe has not seen yet: an FHD with a 60 kW IPG Photonics laser source, running right in front of you.
Europe's first 60 kW IPG, cutting at the booth
The machine is our FHD, the fiber laser cutting system for high power and large formats. What is new is the 60 kW IPG Photonics source: it is the first time a system at this power level has been put to work in Europe.
At the booth we are not going to talk about it, we are going to cut with it. You can watch the power at work, see real processing times and, above all, pick up the cut parts and look at the edge up close.
What 60 kW changes on thick material
It is on the thick end that the difference shows. At 60 kW the fiber laser reaches where plasma or oxyfuel used to be needed, and it gets there with the clean edge a laser gives you: less rework downstream, less time lost.
